SALUTE SAN ANTONIO’S BEST!
On Monday, May 9th from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Louis Tussaud’s Plaza Wax Museum & Ripley’s Believe It or Not, will host the 4th Annual Salute To Firefighters & Paramedics as part of National Tourism Week activities. At 11 a.m., there will be a plaque presentation to San Antonio Fire Chief Hitzfelder to honor and say “thank you” for tirelessly providing fire protection and caring for people who have received injuries whether they are tourists or San Antonio residents. We recognize the important role these people play in all our lives and would like to make sure that they know how much they are appreciated and valued for the service they render on a daily basis. Also present to greet our firefighters and paramedics will be 98.5 The Beat radio station. Firefighters and paramedics will have the opportunity to sign up to win great prizes—hotel stays, dinners, golf outings, attraction tickets, fragrance gift baskets and much more! Just sign up—need not be present to win!
Box lunches and goody bags will be given to each firefighter and paramedic that stops by our museums at 301 Alamo Plaza between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The box lunches are being provided by FRESH HORIZONS CATERING, JIM’S RESTAURANTS AND THE HARD ROCK CAFÉ. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is providing 20 dozen doughnuts for our firefighters and paramedics to enjoy! Thank you all so much!
