NEW AMIGO DOWNTOWN SAN ANTONIO

On Friday, February 14th at 8:30 a.m. Louis Tussaud's Plaza Wax Museum & Ripley’s Believe It or Not! will say a BIG THANK YOU!! to the Centro San Antonio Amigo Program by UNVEILING A WAX FIGURE OF AN AMIGO! This unveiling will take place during The Wax Museum’s 3rd Annual Valentine’s Day Party given in honor of the Amigos. The new wax figure will be dressed in the Amigos’ trademark teal-colored shirt, khaki pants and straw hat. The Centro San Antonio Amigos program began three years ago as part of the Downtown Public Improvement District. Making visitors to the Alamo City feel welcome, answering questions and offering directions are priorities, but they also make employees and residents of downtown feel welcome as well. They also keep the downtown streets free of litter and they maintain beautiful flowers and greenery around downtown streets. The Valentine’s Day Party will also feature the Amigos’ Cow Parade entry, The “Amoogo.” The Amoogo will be stationed in front of Louis Tussaud's Plaza Wax Museum & Ripley’s Believe It or Not! during the festivities.
